Chef and Owner Artist Thornton conceptualized the menu at SpaHa Soul to be an effortless combination of the cuisines that dominate home cooking establishments in Harlem. Buttermilk fried Chicken and fried plantains are just the basics. Think red velvet pancake brunch, savory salmon cakes, grilled pork chops and grits topped with poblano sauce… Chef Artist lives up to his name, creating dishes that satisfy local enthusiasts and touring foodies alike. The restaurant maintains regular dinner and brunch hours, though dining at this cozy, 12- seat eatery is by reservation only. Much like an RSVP for an art gallery opening, only the gastro experience is the art and the chef is the Artist.
